"Secret Places" Freeride skisafari Haut Valais Switzerland

The Haut Valais region is obviously marked by large ski areas such as Zermatt and its majestic Matterhorn and its numerous glaciers. But did you know that the region also has many small, little-known ski areas? In short, an ideal base for adventurous freeriders who aren't afraid to skin up a bit!

We start our program in a comfortable family hotel in a hidden village where foreign tourists are rare. The ski lifts are located directly behind the hotel. When the weekend guests return home on Monday morning, we almost have the ski area with views of the Rhône valley to ourselves. From the ski area we can also enjoy beautiful descents if we skin up a bit. Those who are motivated can even climb to the top of a mountain.

We remain flexible during the week and always look for the best places that are more or less hidden from the general public. But even if we prefer lesser-known places most of the time, you shouldn't miss a day in Zermatt! We leave early, because we are enjoying a long day, which we will of course end in the unmissable après ski bar & terrace of the Hennüstall.

The last night we stay in a hotel in the valley with swimming pool and wellness , from where you can easily return home by train, plane or car.

This program is aimed at experienced off-piste skiers and possibly, in consultation, snowboarders. Experience in ski touring or splitboarding is not strictly necessary, but is recommended.
